The Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter supports women as they make the most out of their "50 years and forward" transition journey. We learn from and support each other as we experience the changes that occur at this stage of life.

We welcome any woman interested in joining our vibrant chapter. The membership experience may involve participation in Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Transition Peer Groups (TPGs), the Caring Collaborative, learning opportunities, and social gatherings. Membership is as rich and deep as each member chooses to make it.

Carl Jung, who created the phrase “the second half of life,” wrote that “The afternoon of human life cannot be a merely pitiful appendage of life’s morning.” Instead of drifting into old age and worrying about the diminishment and loss it can bring, Sage-ing and Sage-ing International show us how we, as elders, can choose to become more conscious, more whole, and happier than we’ve ever been. Join us in the “Deepening the Sage Within” workshop to explore how this is true. You can also sign up for the free information session to learn more.

Lisa, who has been involved in our chapter since its beginning, lives in south Minneapolis. She is a member of the Program Committee, the finance and hiking SIGs, and the new retirement peer group.
