Women's Connection Needs You!

Women’s Connection is powered entirely by its members. We are 100% volunteer run, and everything you see on our calendar, from walks and workshops to dinners and gatherings, happens because someone like you chose to make it happen. Our community thrives on this spirit of contribution, and as membership grows, so does the need for volunteers to keep creating the connections at the heart of our mission.

Getting involved is easier than you think. Joining a committee or helping with an event is a fun way to meet people, make friends, and leave your mark. Most committee members plan only a few events a year, with plenty of support along the way. And if planning is not your thing, there are many other ways to share your talents, from welcoming new members to coordinating small groups to helping behind the scenes.

We also have several leadership opportunities open for those ready to take on a bigger role. If you have ever thought about leading, now is the perfect time. You will have guidance and encouragement to help you succeed.

Additional Event Planners

With so many new members joining, the demand for events has grown quickly, and we need your help to keep up! Events are at the heart of how we connect with each other. Here are a couple of ways you can contribute:

Meet Me There Events
These events bring Women’s Connection members together at activities already happening around town, such as concerts in the park, cooking classes, or candlelight performances. Once added to our calendar, everyone knows a member will be there, making it easy for others to join in. These events are simple to plan, require no minimum attendance, and create more chances for members to connect. Anyone can organize a “Meet Me There” event, and we’d love to see more of them!

Other Events
Have a great idea, a special interest you’d like to share, or community contacts we could tap into? Even if you are not on an event planning committee, we’d be happy to help you bring your event to life and add it to the calendar.

Email chicago@womenconnecting.org to share your ideas for events you’d like to help plan.
