Art Appreciation

General Information

The purpose of this group is to connect women who enjoy viewing, discussing, and learning about art. Each month we explore one aspect of art: an element of art, a particular art medium, an art movement, a specific artist, or an exhibit. Our focus is on increasing our knowledge of art.

New members are always welcome! The group meets the second Wednesday of each month.

Event Information

November is animal month! We’ll look at photos of art that feature or include an animal. There will be applause for the most unusual animal! We’ll look at a slideshow of our photos and discuss what intrigued us about the artworks.

Dogs playing poker will be frowned upon!

We’ll meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, by Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent closer to the date.

We rotate among group members to select and lead our art discussions each month. We need members to lead future meetings. Any artsy idea is welcome!
