TravelMates   
Travel Mates is a special interest group of international and domestic travelers who meet in person monthly for tri-state based activities. Our goals are to meet fellow travelers, share travel plans and possibly meet new travel companions. Our activities are derived from group members’ suggestions. Some of our past excursions were DIA Beacon, a Gowanus Canal Art Walk, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, a whale watching voyage and Johnson’s Glass House.   Up-coming events include: Ellis Island’s Hard Hat Tour, Storm King Sculpture Garden and the art galleries of New Haven.  All activities end with a group lunch at a nearby restaurant. 

As of 2024 we are beginning to add overnight trips to our group.   In October we are going on a 4-night trip to the Arkansas Ozarks to visit The Crystal Bridges Museum complex. Other suggestions include a trip to Washington, D.C., the Newport, Rhode Island Jazz Festival in early August and a fall trip to southwest Pennsylvania to visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.
