This month’s in-person meeting will be held at the main facility at one of our most expansive non-profits, providing important health care services in our community.
LifeCare Alliance is a nonprofit human services organization that provides a comprehensive array of health and nutrition services to residents of central Ohio. LifeCare Alliance’s mission is to lead our community in identifying and delivering health and nutrition services to meet the community’s changing needs. Founded in 1898 as the Instructive District Nursing Association (IDNA), LifeCare Alliance was Columbus’ first in-home health care agency and Ohio’s first Visiting Nurse Association, services we proudly continue today.
Their programs encompass a cancer clinic, diabetes support, nutrition programs, at home services, visiting nurses, HIV/AIDS nutritional support, Senior Pet Care, and the program that probably most are familiar with - Meals on Wheels.
We will be provided a box lunch and a presentation to learn more about these services.
It is our Chapter’s tradition every year to select a non-profit that will be the focus of our support at our annual Holiday gathering in December.
So at the end of our lunch and their presentation, we will also discuss what we can do to support the organization and their clients with our featured Holiday project.
Registrations must be made by Sunday, November 8th.
We will need to give them a count and the box lunch of your choice in advance.
Once you register, you will receive an email with the three choices for your box lunch.
When “Being There Matters”, we hope you will join us for this informative, educational session, and help us plan how to support an important long-standing non-profit in Central Ohio.

Cancellation Policy:
If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
No refunds are available to members or non-members after the cancellation deadline.
