Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K & 8K
Get moving before the Thanksgiving feast!
Join fellow Chicago Women’s Connection members, along with family and friends, for the 48th Annual Life Time Turkey Trot Chicago! This fun Thanksgiving tradition takes place in beautiful Lincoln Park along the shores of Lake Michigan and benefits the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Whether you're a runner or prefer a leisurely walk, everyone is welcome! Choose the 5K or 8K distance and go at your own pace. We'll meet up before the 9:00 AM race start, then participants can run or walk together in smaller groups or head out on their own.
After crossing the finish line, we'll reconnect at the Turkey Day Tailgate for some post-race fun! Enjoy music, tasty treats, photo opportunities, and activities for all ages. It’s the ideal place to relax, refuel, and soak up the Thanksgiving spirit.
Important: Two Registrations Required
To participate with our CWC group, please register in both places:

Women’s Connection website: Register for this event on this page so we know who's participating and can coordinate our pre-race meetup.

Official Turkey Trot Chicago website: Register for the actual race, select your 5K or 8K distance, and pay the registration fee.
The 5K registration fee is $60 + 6.75 fees; 8K registration is $65 + $7.19 fees. All fees are non-refundable.
Family and friends are welcome! Invite your spouse, children, grandchildren, or friends to join the CWC group for a fun and festive start to Thanksgiving Day.
We'll share our exact pre-race meeting location with registered CWC participants closer to the event.
