Sound the Trumpets!   Handel & Haydn Conductor Laureate Harry Christophers returns to lead Boston's must see Messiah.  For the 173rd consecutive year, the H&H Orchestra, Chorus and luminous soloists fill Symphony Hall with music that moves through uncertainty, reflection and radiant joy.  Handel's masterpiece reminds us that when the future is unclear, we can find strength in what endures.  (The Boston Globe)

The work contains 53 movements divided into 3 parts.
Part I: Prophecy of Christ's arrival and birth,
Part II: The passion, death and resurrection concluding with the famous Hallelujah Chorus
Part III: Redemption and eternal life

Don't miss this magical afternoon.
