Explore Chicago with tour guide Mike McMains as he will lead us in discovering the the story behind the amazing 1893 Fair, its legacy, and connections to the exposition that can still be found throughout the park, including the Statue of The Republic, the Japanese Garden, and the former Palace of Fine Arts.
Plus of course Jackson Park ‘s newest addition is the Obama Presidential Center.
We will highlight the wonderful outdoor public spaces that do not require ticketed admission. Attendees can access a hidden webpage referenced throughout the tour so bring your cellphone.

Starts at 1:30, please be at starting point 10 minutes before start time.
Tour is 2 hours and the walking distance is 1.3 miles
Starting point: next to the Statue of the Republic (6300 S Richards Drive)
Ending point: Outside Presidential Library Center (6001 S Stony Island Ave)
Cost: $25 per person which needs to be paid at time of registration.
