Interested in playing Mah Jongg?
Join us for an organizational meeting to discuss forming a group to play Mah Jongg! Both experienced players and those needing some instruction are welcome.
We hope to schedule the games/instruction on Mondays or Thursdays during the day.
What To Bring With You
> Bring your 2026 Mah Jongg card (each player needs her own).
If you do not already have one, please order the card only from the National Mah Jongg League, as other cards may not be accurate. We recommend buying the Large Version ($15) which is easier to read. It takes a little time to get the card mailed to you so please order it soon from the National Mah Jongg League site.
> If you have ideas or resources for places to hold our games, please bring that information with you.
Location & Parking Information
- Parking garages A & B are close to the library on Maryland Avenue. Parking is free for up to 2 hours.
- Metro: the Rockville Metro station is just a few blocks away.

We guard the privacy of our members and guests and never publish personal contact information alongside images.
