NYC (P) Celebrating our 250th Birthday: The American Revolution Tour (11:15 AM)

Stops include St Paul’s Chapel, the final resting place of Revolutionary hero Richard Montgomery; Federal Hall, where Washington was inaugurated president and where the Congress first met; the graves of Alexander Hamilton and Declaration signer Francis Lewis; Trinity Church; Bowling Green, where the Sons of Liberty protested the British Crown; and the site of Thomas Jefferson’s home.

We will also crack the code of a Revolutionary War spy, see the site of the Battle of Goldens Hill, and cover the pre-war origins of European colonization in Manhattan.

After the tour, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for an optional lunch to continue the conversation about the exhibit and enjoy each other’s company. Please plan to bring cash to cover your meal.
