DC (P) Special Event to Learn About Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities
About this event
Would you like to have a role in shaping the direction of the DC Metro chapter?
Women’s Connection leadership offers:
* A meaningful volunteer opportunity with an organization you support and benefit from
* Greater involvement with the chapter and its members
* The satisfaction of bringing women together in friendship and community
We need you! We have openings for:
* A Chair or co-Chairs of the Events Committee
* A Peer Group Chair and Group Coordinators
* A Special Interest Group (“SIG”) Coordinator.
You can also design a role that works for you. The Leadership Team is a collaborative effort. We work together to get the best results for the chapter and its members.
If you are open to volunteering to help the Chapter, we want to hear from you. We are a volunteer-run organization and depend on a rotating group of members to fill the roles that keep the Chapter thriving and growing.
Please join members of the current Leadership Committee (Danna Walker, Wendy Finn, Susan Lilly, Linda Lowenstein and Laura Ferguson) for a meeting at Laura’s house in Kensington/North Bethesda to learn more about leadership opportunities in the Chapter.
The address will be provided to registrants in advance of the meeting.
If you cannot attend but want to learn more, please email us at dc@womenconnecting.org.
