Will Our Elections be Safe & Fair?
June 12, 2026
5-6:15 pm eastern
Via Zoom
Join us to clarify your understanding of the current policies, issues and challenges facing our country as we head into the election cycle.
What is the SAVE Act and why is there so much concern? What is the impact of the Supreme Court decision on Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act? Are mail in ballots unsafe? What is going on with gerrymandering? What are the issues related to the DOJ request for state voting rolls? What other potential concerns and risks are on the radar?
What is the current status of these issues? What is happening in the courts and in Congress? What work is being done by the League of Women Voters ?
What can YOU do?
It is hard for us all to know what to believe in this world of misinformation. Please join in this relevant, informative discussion as we untangle the myriad of concerns we are all hearing about on a nearly daily basis.
Democracy is strengthened when citizens are informed, engaged and active. Now is the time!
