The "Revolutionary Women" exhibit at The New York Historical Society explores how women in New York were affected by the Revolutionary War and what part women played in New York and beyond.
Since this year marks the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, the Historical Society chose this Spring to explore the experience of Revolutionary Women. The exhibition is designed to give us an idea of what the war was like for women and how women did, indeed, contribute to the Revolution.
The Historical Society has put together a collection of letters, poems, petitions, military correspondence, paintings and more to bring this story to life.
Please arrive at 10:45am and meet outside the building for this docent led tour. No refunds or credits - all sales are final.
An optional lunch has been arranged at Nice Matin, 201 West 7pth St at 1 PM.. Please bring cash in order to split the lunch bill.
Elevators are available at The NY Historical Society, but no parking lot is available. We suggest carpooling and parking at one of the nearby garages listed below and reserving a space with Spot Hero or Park Whiz apps:

Registration is required before Friday, June 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM
Payment In Full In Advance Only
Arrive at 10:45am and meet in front of the building. All ticket sales are final - no refunds or credits. Optional lunch at Nice Matin at 1 PM - bring cash to split the bill.
Cancellation Policy:
If you are a member and cancel your registration before the specified deadline, you will receive a full refund as a credit to your account. You can use the credit to pay for another event or put it toward your annual dues payment. Non-members will receive a refund on their credit card, minus a $4 processing fee.
No refunds are available to members or non-members after the cancellation deadline.
