Join us for a fun and relaxed exploration of affordable summer white wines. In this casual tasting, we’ll sample a selection of refreshing whites available by the glass or bottle—perfect choices for warm evenings, outdoor gatherings, and everyday enjoyment.

Along the way, we’ll cover the basics of white wine: popular grape varieties, what makes certain wines especially refreshing in the summer, and how to choose your wine with confidence for either your usual go-to wines or new favorites. Whether you already enjoy a glass of white or want to discover new whites, this tasting is designed to be approachable, informative, and social.

Expect bright, crisp, and easy-to-love wines along with a few tips that will make choosing your next bottle simple and enjoyable.

Zena Kaufman
After a 30-year career in the pharmaceutical industry as a C-suite executive in quality, Zena turned her long-time passion for wine into a second career. Extensive international travel throughout Europe, Australia, and the United States provided opportunities to visit wineries and deepen her appreciation for regional wine styles and traditions.

Since retiring, she has pursued formal wine education, completing WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Levels 2 and 3 and coursework at the Diploma level. She has also earned certifications through Napa Valley Wine Academy, including regional wine studies and Professional Wine Educator.  Zena is also an active NYC Chapter Member.
