     25th Anniversary of the Declaration of  Independence                              
Few documents have had as much impact on the world as the one page writing that formalized the severing of ties between the American colonies and England. In Jim Coll’s lecture he will discuss the road to the declaration, the constitutional underpinnings of its necessity and the
historical basis of its premise.
Jim Coll is an adjunct professor of American and Constitutional history at Hofstra and Nassau Community College. He has written numerous articles for Politico, the Hill, City Journal and Newsday.
