Join us for Making Their Mark: Works from the Shah Garg Collection a powerful celebration of women artists who have boldly reshaped the landscape of modern and contemporary art.

Making Their Mark presents around 80 works by nearly 70 influential women artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, including Joan Mitchell, Julie Mehretu, Faith Ringgold, Kara Walker, Cecily Brown, Sheila Hicks, and many others. Spanning eight decades and a wide range of media such as painting, sculpture, textiles, beadwork, installation, and ceramics, the exhibition highlights how women artists have expanded abstraction, challenged conventions, and embraced innovative materials and craft-based techniques.

The exhibition reframes art history as an interconnected network of influences and perspectives, emphasizing the importance of diverse voices in shaping cultural narratives.
