Join us to learn about Allies in Aging, including a brief overview of the programs, activities, and services offered to support adults in our community to age well and remain independent for as long as possible.
As part of this training, participants will also learn about Dementia Friendly Billings, a community movement focused on building awareness about memory loss, sharing practical tips for supporting people living with dementia, and providing time for questions and discussion. Memory loss should never mean that someone cannot feel safe or supported living in our community.
These portions of the presentation will be led by Becky Meisenheimer, Dementia Education Coordinator, CDP, CMDCP, and Tyler Amundson, Director of Mission and Development at Allies in Aging.
Additionally, Cyndy Martin, a member of the Board of Directors for the Montana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will present a short segment on cognitive health.
