CHI (P) - Book Club - Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
About this event

Book Club: Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Join us this month as we dive into Brave New World. The hostess will provide light refreshments and guide a warm and welcoming discussion. At the end of our time together, we will select our next book, along with a new discussion leader and hostess for the following gathering. To help keep the club thriving, participants will be asked to host or co-host a future meeting so we can share the fun and responsibilities.
Brave New World is a classic dystopian novel by Aldous Huxley, published in 1932, which depicts a futuristic Wold State where citizens are genetically engineered, socially conditioned, and drugged with “soma” to ensure stability and conformity, sacrificing individuality and freedom for a manufactured happiness. The story highlights themes of technology, control, and the loss of humanity.
