With hundreds of galleries, New York City is the world’s center for contemporary art. Our tour guide, Rafael Risemberg has been leading gallery tours for over 20 years.
For this tour, he’ll select newly opened exhibits of the most extraordinary contemporary art, then explain the artwork and lead the participants in lively discussion.
Rafael Risemberg, Ph.D. in art education, founded New York Gallery Tours in 2002. He was a college professor for 16 years before leading art tours full time. He was also the art critic for the New York Blade.

After the tour, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant for an optional lunch to continue the conversation about the exhibit and enjoy each other’s company. Please plan to bring cash to cover your meal.
