Tony Award–winning actor and master clown Bill Irwin is performing his one-man show, On Beckett, at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Klein Theatre in Washington, D.C. The 90-minute show explores the work of Samuel Beckett through Irwin's unique blend of physical comedy and verbal analysis. Its a mix of performance and lecture where Irwin explores his lifelong fascination with Samuel Beckett's prose and plays, focusing on the blend of humor and existentialism. The show has received positive reviews, described as a "radiant, living theater" and a "must-see theatrical event" for fans of clowning and classical literature.
