BOS (P) - Morning Post Card Writing to Support Get Out the Vote - Wisconsin Supreme Court
About this event
VOTING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER!
ELECTION FOR A WISCONSIN SUPREME COURT JUSTICE IS APRIL 7
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN OTHER MEMBERS
&
WRITE POSTCARDS TOGETHER TO SUPPORT GET OUT THE VOTE EFFORTS
The 2026 Wisconsin Supreme Court election will be held April 7. This election is important because it impacts the ideological control of the court for a ten-year term, influencing key issues like abortion rights, voting laws, and redistricting. The court plays a central role in, and is often the final arbiter of, voting rights, election litigation, and potential challenges to election results.
Chapter member Susan Cleaver in Newton Centre will host 2 postcard writing sessions. Members will write Reclaim our Vote postcards to help get out the vote in Wisconsin. We will work through the Center for Common Ground's ROV program

"There's no such thing as a vote that doesn't matter."
Barack Obama, President
"A man without a vote is a man without protection."
Lyndon B. Johnson, President
For our democracy to thrive, everyone must participate. With all the divisiveness in our country, it is more important that ever that every voice is heard. There are many potential challenges that may make voting in the upcoming elections more difficult.
