The Giving Circle's focus area for 2026 is Food Insecurity. In order to educate us all on this important topic, our program committee is offering two educational programs. The first one was entitled Understanding Food Insecurity in Philadelphia and was held on Thursday, January 29th. The second program entitled Philadelphia's Response to Food Insecurity is being held on Thursday, February 26th.
During our first program we heard from three distinct tiers of leadership—state government, regional distribution, and community advocacy—together in one conversation. For this program you will hear from others who are trying to make a difference.
