Learn to make classic Italian American comfort food in this hands-on cooking class at Sur La Table. Working alongside a professional chef instructor, you will prepare a full menu, from crispy Chicken Milanese to pillowy gnocchi finished with a tomato cream sauce. You will also make a bright arugula salad and finish with a rich dark chocolate espresso budino for dessert.
This is a hands-on class. You will work in groups of four, sharing a workstation and equipment in a fun, collaborative setting led by a professional chef instructor. During class, you will sample generous portions of everything you make and enjoy the dishes family-style with your group.
You will receive printed recipes and detailed at-home instructions so you can recreate the menu in your own kitchen.
You will be standing and cooking for most of the class. Please wear comfortable clothing and tie back long hair.
The class runs two hours and is limited to 16 participants. This event is also open to the public, so early registration is strongly encouraged. Once the class is full at Sur la Table, registration for this event will be closed.
