Inspiring Women – Jane Addams
A pragmatic radical

Jane Addams (1860-1935) opened the first settlement house in the US, co-founded the ACLU, and was the first American woman to receive a Nobel Prize. At the time of her death, Addams was the best-known female public figure in the United States. Yet most of us have probably never heard of her. Join us to learn and talk about this inspiring woman!
