We will meet a naturalist at the Black Hill Discovery Center to experience “For the Love of Birds”, a moving art exhibit by artist Caroline Blizzard highlighting the effects of climate change on the birds around us. We will then be able to watch the waterfowl on Little Seneca Lake, followed by a short walk to the bird blind, a camouflaged structure letting you view or photograph birds up close without disturbing them. The Center can provide binoculars and scopes, but requests that you bring your own if you have them. Be sure to dress for the weather.
We will then head over to Noodles and Company in Neelsville Village Center, 20952 Frederick Rd in Germantown. You can see the menu. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their meal, drinks, tax, and a 20% tip.
