Former Prime Minister of New Zealand
Jacinda Ardern was elected Prime Minister of New Zealand at age 37. Ardern advocates a different kind of political power, based on compassion and empathy. During her tenure in office, she guided her country through the aftermath of a horrific terror attack as well as the COVID pandemic. In both cases, the result was extraordinary.
“Inspiring Women” is a monthly forum spotlighting extraordinary women. A member of the NYC Chapter leads each session that illuminates and celebrates the life's work of an accomplished woman. Come for the knowledge, stay for the inspiration.

Our Presenter: Jan Blustein
Jan Blustein is a member of the New York City Chapter. She was a Professor of Health Policy and Medicine at New York University, where she researched the health and well-being of older people.
In her retirement, she enjoys reading, gardening, and working out. She is interested in developing intergenerational inspiration for women.
