About this event

Meet the Chocolate Maker

Join us for an interesting presentation by Anne Giuliano, a local Chocolate maker by day, physician by night and owner of Blind Cat Chocolates.  She also won awards for her chocolate.

Anne's presentation will cover the early history of cacao, the development of craft chocolate and most importantly, the health aspects! You probably saw her featured in a local news interview.

You'll also have the opportunity to sample and purchase her chocolates following the presentation.

My name is Anne Giuliano.

I found craft chocolate in 2022 while visiting the island of Kauai with my husband.

Jim and I took a cacao farm tour that included a chocolate tasting.

I had never liked dark chocolate, but the flavor of well made, small batch chocolate had me.
I started making chocolate at home as a hobby and before I knew it, I had started a business.

Well-made chocolate has a taste sensation that is unparalleled, and I would highly recommend you buy a bar and give it a shot.

Blind Cat Chocolate is named in honor of my soul kitty, Xel.
Xel lost her eyes to an infection when she was a kitten, but that did not stop her from living her life to the fullest.

The Mission of Blind Cat Chocolate is to make delicious,
craft chocolate to raise money for cat rescue organizations.
We will do this using ethically sourced, planet-friendly ingredients and Packaging.
